Dog Fouling

There is an increasing amount of dog fouling on pavements throughout the villages, which is not pleasant for all pedestrians, parents with prams and children. Please, can all dog owners be responsible and pick up their dog waste and dispose of it.

Netheravon is part of three small villages nestled together next to the river Avon and situated in Wiltshire on Salisbury Plain in the South West of England. The area is vibrant, and is lucky to have a thriving School, Shop, Post Office, hairdressers, plumbing, renewables and heating contractor, garage as well as a Working Mens Club, oh, and not forgetting Stonehenge Ales

Did you know..

Sydney Smith

Sydney Smith (June 3, 1771 – February 22, 1845) was an English writer and Anglican cleric, and was ordained at Oxford in 1796 and became curate of Netheravon the same year and was to stay in Netheravon for about three years. Sydney Smith was one of the founders of the local Sunday School teaching the poor children of the area spelling and reading to help them progress in life and making a huge difference to their lives. American President Abraham Lincoln was one of Sydney Smith's greatest admirers.
